We are the Weeks family. Right now there are four of us and one big cat but soon there will be one more. My name is PJ Weeks and I am the husband to Annie, daddy to Robin Anne and William, and pastor of a local church. In my spare time I am the founder and president of Rain Down Ministries which is an outdoor ministry focused on exalting Christ, stewarding wildlife, and passing it on to the next generation. My wife Annie is a stay at home mom, children’s minister at our church, incredible cook, and she loves gardening. My children Robin Anne and William, well they just love being kids!
We have been discussing the process of adoption since we were married seven years ago. It has only been in the last year that we began to sense God’s call to begin the process. We began to discuss options and countries where we could adopt. There are 147 million orphans worldwide so we had numerous choices. To make a long story short we feel like God is leading us to adopt from Russia. We have currently been accepted into the adoption program and will begin the long and tedious task of filling out paperwork and going through interviews.
